About the lecturer:

Dr. Assaf Shechter, Founder and CEO of Enzootic (HK), graduated from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel with a PhD. Degree in Molecular Biology, and is mainly engaged in the research on shrimp gender control technologies and in the commercial application and promotion of these technologies.

Dr. Peng Yongbo, currently Assistant Professor at Louisiana State University, received his PhD. Degree in 2011 from the Department of Geology and Geophysics of Louisiana State University. He mainly focuses on the applications of light-mass stable isotopes (such as C, N, O and S) in surface environments (particularly those tracing the biogeochemical processes of geologic periods then), the rebuilding of the atmospheric chemistry, especially the interactions with lithosphere-biosphere –atmosphere and applications in other aspects; he has published many related papers in Geology, EPSL and other top-class geoscience journals, and attracted close attention from peers in the international community.
