On October 22-23, a four-person delegation led by Honorary Chairman Michael John Haslam and Vice Chairman Alan Van Caubergh of International Dragon Boat Federation visited SHOU, and were warmly received by the principals of the Department of Physical Education and Sports, the International Exchange Office and the College of International Cultural Exchange of SHOU.
Michael John Haslam highly affirmed our dragon-boat sport infrastructure and remarkable achievements, and thanked us for our contributions to the promotion of dragon-boat culture among international students. Alan Van Caubergh introduced the development history of International Dragon-Boat Federation, the future development planning for dragon-boat sport and the current research fronts of dragon-boat sport, and expressed the hope to engage in further cooperation and exchanges with SHOU.
