On March 14, the delegation led by Park Han-il, President of Korea Maritime and Ocean University visited SHOU, and attended the 8th“CAMPUS Asia” work conference. They were warmly received by SHOU President Cheng Yudong at the meeting room on the 12th floor of Tuwen Information Center. Also present at the meeting were Zhong Junsheng, Director of the International Exchange Office; Jin Yinzhe, Deputy Dean of the College of Food Science and Technology, and so forth.
SHOU President Cheng Yudong extended a warm welcome to our visitors. After reviewing the progress of cooperation between the two universities underCAMPUS Asia Program and in other fields in recent years, he said that SHOU was still in the stage of Double First-class high-grade university construction, and that its exchange and cooperation with Korea Maritime and Ocean University in the field of education internationalization should be strengthened on a higher platform. He also proposed to use scientific expedition vessels as an exchange platform between the two sides.
Park Han-il, President of Korea Maritime and Ocean University, emphasized the profound friendship built between the two universities during their long-term cooperation and exchange, thanked SHOU President Cheng Yudong for his continuous support to bilateral cooperation, and expressed the hope that the two sides would further strengthen their communication and exchange to deepen their cooperation.
