The release date:2019-03-28view:102Set

On March 27, 2019, the Editorial Department of Aquaculture and Fisheries (AAF for short) of SHOU received a notice from the assessment agency of Scopus database. It was revealed that AAF, sponsored by China Society of Fisheries, SHOU, and China Science Publishing & Media Ltd., had passed the rigorous review by the Content Selection & Advisory Board (CSAB) of Scopus database, and been formally included by Scopus database of Holland.

This is the first milestone in the history of AAF after its initial issue in November, 2015, and also the second journal of the Editorial Department of SHOU included by Scopus database, following its Journal of Fisheries of China. In the future, papers published on AAF will be retrieved by more and more international scholars, which will be of vital significance for further strengthening the international influence of AAF. The inclusion of AAF by Scopus database reflects the success achieved by sponsor SHOU through closely adhering to the quality improvement-based connotative development path, continuously broadening the international vision, tracking international frontiers, strengthening international cooperation and exchange, and promoting the world-class discipline construction according to internationally advanced standards; it also offers substantial support to sponsor China Society of Fisheries in building a world-class society and starting world-class journals, and takes a substantial step towards advancing the strategic cooperation between SHOU and China Society of Fisheries.
