At the invitation of the College of Fisheries and Life Science of SHOU, on April 24-May 1, Shunsuke Koshio, Professor and Vice President of Kagoshima University in Japan, and Giovanni Turchini, Professor of the Faculty of Science of Deakin University in Australia, visited SHOU, and engaged in cooperation, exchanges, lectures, and other activities.
On the afternoon of April 28, Li Jiale, Vice President of SHOU, and Wang Xichang, Professor and Executive Dean of the Graduate School, warmly received our guests at meeting room 101 of Tuwen Information Center. Also present at the meeting were Deputy Deans Huang Xuxiong and Yang Jinlong and Professors Chen Liangbiao and Wu Xugan from the College of Fisheries and Life Science, etc. The meeting was presided by Li Jiale.
Th meeting deepened our mutual understanding with Kagoshima University in Japan and Deakin University in Australia, and further explored more cooperation spaces through in-depth discussions. It will improve the internationalization level of SHOU, and provide substantial support to our construction of Double First-class discipline construction and high-grade characteristic university construction.
