About the lecturer:

Wang Jia’ning, Doctor and Associate Research Fellow at the Institute of Oceanology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, is mainly engaged in studying tropical western Pacific ocean circulation and climate change. As a main participant, Wang Jia’ning took part in the design and construction of the Chinese Tropical Western Pacific Submerged Buoy Observation Network. This system lays the foundation of China’s core position in the field of maritime space observation research in the world, and can provide continuous data support to our researches on oceanography and climatology.
