Dai Xilin, SHOU Professor, is the chief expert of the technical system construction program of Shanghai shrimp-related modern agricultural industry, and a member of the National Technical Expert Panel of Micro-porous Oxygen-enrichment-based Efficient and Healthy Breeding Technique. He has always been at the frontline of crustacean teaching and research, and is engaged in the development and production guidance of the breeding, cultivation, water quality management, ecological disease control and other techniques about Fenneropenaeus chinensiss, Penaeus monodon, Litopenaeusvannamei, Marsupenaeus japonicas, Macrobrachium rosenbergii and other shrimpspecies. In recent years, he has also achieved certain progress in genetic breeding researches on Macrobrachium rosenbergii and Litopenaeus vannamei.
