About the Lecturer:

Line Emilie Tvedt Sverdrup, a senior expert from DetNorske Veritas, has long been engaged in the risk assessment of hazardouschemicals and industrial pollutants, wastewater and sediment pollution. Inparticular, he has made great achievements in eco-toxicology research and haspublished more than 20 academic papers in this field. In recent 5 years, he hasengaged himself in the type approval test of ballast water management system asrequired by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the US CoastGuard (USCG), thus having accumulated rich experience and become a major participantin formulating the type approval management framework for ballast watermanagement systems. In addition, he once taught at the University of Oslo formany years and served as the chairman of Norwegian Scientific Committee forFood Safety (VKM Panel 2).
