About the Lecturer:

Tafsir Malick Ndiaye, Judge of the International Tribunal for the Law ofthe Sea (ITLOS) and a J.D. at the University of Paris, served as director ofthe Research Center of Université Libre de Dakar Law School, a lawyer and jointagent of the Senegalese government, a Judge of the Geneva Court of Arbitration,a Judge of Hague International Court of Justice, Chairman of the FisheriesDisputes Chamber, ITLOS, an adviser to Senegambia government, a consultant ofthe United Nations, a legal adviser to the Senegalese Government on SenegaleseBusiness Debt Negotiation, a rapporteur of the ElectoralLaw Reform Commission of Senegal and so on. He is also a part-time member of BrunelUniversity Advisory Board, UK Uxbridge Advisory Board, JOLGA, ACILP Panel ofEminent Persons (PEP) and other organizations. He received Senegal Knight’sCross (1995), Order of Commander (1998), and Order of Officer (2017).
