On the morning of August 9,the seven-person delegation led by Miss Aschariya Juntaravong, the Consul of the Agricultural Division of the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Shanghai and composed of the experts of Thailand Bureau of Fisheries, paid a visit to SHOU. They were warmly received by Vice President Li Jiale; Zhong Junsheng, Director of the International Exchange Office; Tan Hongxin, Dean of the College of Fisheries and Life Science, etc.
Li Jiale introduced the development and planning of SHOU since being elected as a 'Double First-class' university by the Ministry of Education, and the cooperation with related colleges and universities in Thailand. The Consul of the Agricultural Division of the Royal Thai Consulate-General thanked SHOU for our cooperation and exchange with Thailand, and expressed the hope to further the cooperation between the two sides in agriculture. They also engaged in in-depth talks about scientific research cooperation and talent cultivation in aquaculture, and reached a consensus regarding the signing of a cooperation framework agreement and the joint application of Sino-Thailand fishery cooperation agreement.
