With great emphasis on international cultural exchange, the university actively organizes various international conferences, encourages students to go overseas for short-term learning and internships, and vigorously cultivate internationalized faculty members.

The university actively explores international students, and develops international education programs with Chinese characteristics and SHOU features to attract students. So far, over 200 international students from 17 countries have come to SHOU for study or exchange programs.
